Terms of Sale
Last Updated: September 1, 2026
1. General
1.1 Fjellsangin LLC (“Fjellsangin,” “we,” “us”) is a Washington limited liability company. It operates each of the sales channels described in 1.2.
1.2 Scope. These terms govern any purchase made from Fjellsangin, including purchases made through our digital guidebook store, our experiences request form, our gift certificate checkout, and add-ons purchased alongside a reservation. Where a section applies only to a particular type of purchase, it says so.
1.3 Washington UBI number: 605899093
1.4 Business address: PO Box N, Ashford, WA 98304
1.5 Support and inquiries: hello@fjellsangin.com
1.6 Placing an order means you have read and accepted these terms.
1.7 We may update these terms at any time. The version in effect at the time of your order is the version that applies to that order.
2. Definitions
Fjellsangin — Fjellsangin LLC, the seller.
Guest — the person purchasing, who must be the confirmed reservation holder or a member of their party. Gift certificate purchasers are an exception, as described in Section 9.
Item — any food board, box, kit, experience, hosted service, add-on, gift certificate, or other product or service offered for sale by Fjellsangin.
Stay — the confirmed reservation the order is attached to.
3. Eligibility and Reservation Requirement
3.1 You must be 18 or older to place an order.
3.2 With the exception of gift certificates, every item sold by Fjellsangin is fulfilled at 31613 Mt. Tahoma Canyon Road E, Ashford, Washington, during a confirmed stay. A valid reservation is required at the time of ordering.
3.3 With the exception of gift certificates, items cannot be purchased for delivery to any other address, and cannot be purchased by anyone who is not staying at the property.
3.4 Gift certificates. Gift certificates may be purchased by anyone aged 18 or older, whether or not they hold a reservation and whether or not they intend to stay at the property. Section 9 governs their sale and redemption.
3.5 If your reservation is cancelled or transferred, see Section 8.
4. Ordering and Order Deadlines
4.1 Food items. Boards, dinners, trail meals, fridge stocking, and the Sparkle Bar Kit must be ordered at least seven (7) days before your arrival date. This window exists so ingredients can be sourced and prepared.
4.2 Cabin-stocked items. Wellness and ritual kits, Fireside Cinema, the Artisan Fireside S’mores Kit, and the Ultimate Campfire Kit are stocked at the cabin and have no ordering deadline. They may be requested before or during your stay, subject to availability. The Ultimate Campfire Kit is subject to Section 10 during a burn ban.
4.3 Hosted services. Services delivered in person by a third party or by us require at least twenty-four (24) hours’ notice. Löyly Day requires seven (7) days’ notice. Hosted services are requests, not bookings, and are scheduled with you directly. Massage services are subject to Washington state law, which does not permit massage before 6:00 AM or after 10:00 PM.
4.4 Stay enhancements. Firewood may be ordered at any time, including during your stay, except when a burn ban is in effect. Firewood ordered during your stay is fulfilled as soon as reasonably possible after the order is received, typically within a few hours during the day. Orders placed late at night are fulfilled the following morning. Early check-in and late check-out may be added at any time before your stay and are subject to 4.9.
4.5 Trip protection. Travel protection is offered by a third party and must be purchased within that provider’s eligibility window following your booking. We do not control that window. See Section 12.
4.6 Requests submitted after an applicable deadline may be declined or may not be fulfillable.
4.7 An order is not confirmed until you receive written confirmation from us. An automated order acknowledgment or receipt generated by our ordering form, our checkout, or our payment processor is a record of your request or payment. It is not confirmation that the order will be fulfilled.
4.8 We may decline any order for any reason, including capacity limits, ingredient availability, staffing, or conditions at the property.
4.9 Early check-in and late check-out. These are subject to approval. They depend on the cleaning schedule and on whether the cabin is occupied on adjacent nights. We cannot confirm either until closer to your dates, and an unapproved request will be refunded in full.
5. Prices, Taxes, and Payment
5.1 All prices are in U.S. dollars.
5.2 Prices displayed exclude applicable Washington state and local sales tax. Tax is calculated and shown at checkout where it applies.
5.3 Payment is by credit or debit card, processed by our payment provider. We do not store your full card details.
5.4 If an item is listed at an incorrect price due to error, we may cancel the order and refund you in full rather than honor the listed price.
5.5 Prices and product contents may change without notice. The price in effect when your order is confirmed is the price that applies.
6. Fulfillment
6.1 We do not ship. Items are placed in the cabin, prepared in the cabin, or delivered to you at the property during your stay.
6.2 Items are set out at the time indicated in your order confirmation or, where no time is given, before your arrival.
6.3 Perishable items are refrigerated where required. Once an item has been placed in the cabin, responsibility for storing and handling it safely passes to you.
6.4 Substitutions. Ingredients are sourced from local and regional grocers and availability varies. We reserve the right to substitute items of equal or greater value without notice. If a substitution would materially change what you ordered, we will contact you first.
7. Food, Allergens, and Dietary Requirements
7.1 Food is prepared on-site at Fjellsangin in the onsite kitchen.
7.2 Our kitchen handles nuts, dairy, gluten, eggs, soy, fish, and shellfish. We cannot guarantee that any item is free from cross-contact with any allergen. Guests with severe allergies should not order food items.
7.3 Dietary preferences noted on your order (plant-based, gluten-free, and similar) are accommodated in good faith but are not a guarantee of allergen-free preparation.
7.4 You are responsible for reviewing ingredient lists provided with each item and for making your own determination about whether an item is appropriate for you or your party.
7.5 We do not sell or serve alcohol and do not hold a liquor license. Beverage items are non-alcoholic. Guests may bring their own alcohol to the property.
8. Cancellations and Refunds
8.1 Food items. Cancellable up to the seven-day deadline for a full refund. After that deadline, food orders are non-refundable. Ingredients have been purchased and preparation has begun.
8.2 Cabin-stocked items. Refundable in full until the item is delivered to you or set out in the cabin. Not refundable after that point.
8.3 Hosted services. Cancellable up to twenty-four (24) hours before the scheduled time for a full refund. Löyly Day is cancellable up to seven (7) days before. Later cancellations are refunded at our discretion, since a therapist’s or host’s time has been reserved.
8.4 Stay enhancements. Firewood is refundable until it is delivered or until the firewood cabinet is unlocked, whichever comes first. It is not refundable after that point, except under 10.3. Early check-in and late check-out are refunded in full if we cannot accommodate the request.
8.5 Trip protection. Refunds and cancellations are governed entirely by the third-party provider’s policy, not by these terms.
8.6 If your stay is cancelled. If you cancel your reservation, all attached orders are cancelled. Orders cancelled outside the applicable deadline are refunded in full. Orders cancelled inside the deadline are refunded at our discretion, based on what has already been purchased or prepared.
8.7 If we cannot fulfill. If we cannot deliver an item you have paid for, you will receive a full refund for that item or, at your option, a credit toward a future stay.
8.8 Refunds are issued to the original payment method within 10 business days of the cancellation being confirmed.
8.9 Items are not returnable. Food, wellness kits containing opened or used products, and personalized items cannot be returned or exchanged.
9. Gift Certificates
9.1 Gift certificates are the one item we sell that does not require a reservation. They may be purchased by anyone, for anyone, at any time, and are redeemable toward a stay at Fjellsangin. The purchaser and the eventual guest do not need to be the same person.
9.2 Gift certificates are sold in fixed denominations.
9.3 The face value of a gift certificate is applied to the full cost of a stay, including the nightly rate, fees, and all applicable taxes. Up to the face value, the recipient owes nothing further at redemption.
9.4 If the total cost of the stay exceeds the face value, the remaining balance is due at the time of booking. If the total cost is less than the face value, the difference is not refunded, credited, or paid out in cash.
9.5 Gift certificates are non-refundable and cannot be exchanged for cash.
9.6 Redemption is subject to availability. A gift certificate does not reserve or guarantee any specific dates.
9.7 Gift certificates do not expire.
9.8 Washington sales tax is not collected at the time a gift certificate is purchased. Tax on the stay is calculated and remitted when the certificate is redeemed, and is covered by the face value as described in 9.3.
10. Fires, Burn Bans, and Weather
10.1 Firewood and campfire items are sold for use in the designated outdoor fire feature at the property only. The fireplace inside the cabin is gas and does not burn wood.
10.2 Outdoor fires are prohibited during any burn ban issued by Pierce County, the Washington Department of Natural Resources, or any other authority with jurisdiction. Burn bans are issued and lifted without notice, particularly in summer.
10.3 If a burn ban is in effect during your stay, firewood and campfire items are refunded in full or credited toward a future stay, at your option. This applies whether the item was ordered before arrival or during your stay, and includes the firewood bundle contained in the Ultimate Campfire Kit. During an active burn ban, firewood is removed from sale. We are not responsible for other costs or inconvenience arising from a burn ban.
10.4 We are not liable for failure to fulfill an order due to weather, road closure, power outage, wildfire, park closure, or any other circumstance outside our reasonable control. In those cases, affected items are refunded.
11. Wellness Items, Sauna, and Hot Tub
11.1 Wellness items are personal care products intended for comfort and relaxation. They are not medical devices, medications, or treatments. Nothing we say about them is a medical claim.
11.2 Products are not intended to diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any condition.
11.3 Read the ingredient list and any contraindication notes provided with each item before use. Some products are not suitable during pregnancy, while taking blood thinners, or for individuals with sensitivity to specific ingredients. If you are unsure, consult your physician before use.
11.4 Use of the sauna, hot tub, outdoor shower, and any heat- or cold-based ritual is at your own risk and is governed by the property rules provided at check-in. Do not use the sauna or hot tub while pregnant, while under the influence of alcohol, or if you have a cardiovascular condition, without first consulting your physician.
11.5 Perform a patch test before applying any topical product.
11.6 Hosted services. Massage and body treatments are performed by an independently licensed Washington massage therapist. Disclose any relevant medical condition, injury, allergy, or pregnancy to the therapist before your session. The therapist may decline or modify a service at her professional discretion.
12. Third-Party Products and Services
12.1 Some items include products made by third parties. Those products are subject to their manufacturers’ own ingredient lists, warnings, and warranties.
12.2 Travel insurance. Travel protection referred through our website or digital guidebook is a product of a third-party provider. Fjellsangin does not sell travel insurance. We are not the insurer, are not an insurance agent or broker, and do not underwrite, administer, or adjudicate claims. We cannot advise on coverage. Coverage, exclusions, eligibility, and claims are governed entirely by the policy issued by the provider. Read the policy before purchasing. Any questions or claims must be directed to the provider.
12.3 Compensation. We participate in affiliate programs and may receive compensation when you purchase a third-party product or service we feature or link to, including travel protection. This does not affect the price you pay. Our role remains as described in 12.2.
13. Limitation of Liability
13.1 Our liability for any item purchased from Fjellsangin is limited to the amount you paid for that item.
13.2 We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, including loss of enjoyment, lost time, or costs associated with your travel.
13.3 Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited under Washington law.
14. Privacy
14.1 We collect the information needed to process and fulfill your order: name, contact details, reservation details, dietary notes, and payment confirmation. Full payment card details are handled by our payment processor and are not stored by us.
14.2 We do not sell your personal information.
14.3 Order records are retained as long as required for tax and accounting purposes under Washington and federal law.
14.4 Our full privacy policy is available at fjellsangin.com/privacy-policy. Privacy questions: hello@fjellsangin.com.
15. Governing Law
15.1 These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Washington, without regard to conflict of law principles.
15.2 Any dispute arising from these terms or from a purchase made from Fjellsangin will be brought exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Pierce County, Washington.
