A 50% deposit is required to confirm your booking.
The remaining balance is due 14 days before check-in.
A credit card must be kept on file to cover any damages or additional cleaning costs that may be incurred.
Cancellations
Cancel 30+ days in advance: full refund minus a $75 administrative fee (which can be applied toward a future stay within 6 months).
Cancel within 30 days: payment is non-refundable unless we can rebook the dates. If rebooked, we’ll refund the recovered portion.
Refunds & Weather
Fjellsangin is a year-round retreat—and sometimes, nature has plans of its own.
We do not offer refunds for weather events, road closures, travel delays, or power/internet outages, but we’ll always do what we can to support your stay.
Travel insurance is highly recommended, especially during winter months.
Utilities & Connectivity
The cabin is equipped with a backup generator, ensuring continued heat, light, and basic cooking capabilities during any power outage.
Wi-Fi is generally reliable but may go down in heavy wind or snow.
Verizon and T-Mobile service work well here, and many guests use mobile hotspots as a backup.
Cleaning & Cabin Care
Cleaning Fee
A one-time cleaning fee covers professional cleaning after your stay.
We kindly ask that the cabin be left in good condition—no need for perfection, just basic respect for the space.
Damages
If something breaks, please let us know. Minor accidents (like a broken dish) are no problem—we’d just like to replace it before the next guest arrives.
Excessive mess or damage beyond regular wear may result in additional charges.
Access & Entry
Your stay includes keyless entry via a personalized door code, which will be sent to you prior to check-in.
If the lock fails and a physical backup key is issued, please return it. Lost keys may incur a replacement fee.
Security & Safety
A Blink video doorbell is installed at the front entrance. It records motion-triggered video (no audio) and is not monitored during your stay.
This helps protect the property between visits. Please do not cover or tamper with the device.
Before You Go
This place was built slowly, with intention. We hope it gives you room to breathe, reconnect, and remember what matters. If anything is missing—or especially magical—please share it with us. Your stay helps shape Fjellsangin for every guest who follows.
